I’m suffering from severe insomnia at the moment which is extremely frustrating. Anyway, last night after counting all the sheep in the world, I gave up trying to sleep and angrily logged on to my Facebook account.

I’m so happy I did because the first status update I saw said ‘John is so happy Rohini won!!!! Yes she can!’

I’m ecstatic that Rohini won her council by-election in Enfield at the ripe age of 21. I texted her and she replied saying that she was still in shock! You can read Cllr Naz Sarkar’s article about the win here.

Oh and did I mention that she took the seat away from the Tories? Of course I’m not gloating…
