Posted January 26, 2010, 2:21 pmHello Tulip,
Was nice meeting and speaking with you at the Citygateway event at Downing st yesterday.
Quite interesting what you `ve been doing and what you seek to achieve.
As i mentioned at the event, we at Gateway Media (Citygateway) are engaging different people and groups through innovation use in Tower Hamlets. You can access our website on”www.gateway-media.co.uk” to see what services we offer and avenues for collaboration.
I believe that a meeting will open doors to positively impact the Bangladeshi community and further continue to bring hope to Tower Hamlets.
I hope all above is of use and will contact you or can be contacted by email at the above address to discuss any possibilities.
Regards
Dayo
Posted October 29, 2009, 12:30 amHi Tulip,
Great website! Tom, Pat and all of us at Camden Labour need to keep building momentum and carry on working together on getting Camden Town tube into a staion fit for purpose for all those who use the station every week. Let’s keep up the campaign!
We also need to keep people aware about Arlington House which I know you’ve read about – see Tom’s letter to the CNJ:
http://camdentownwithprimrosehill.blogspot.com/2009/07/arlington-house.html
Will speak soon about how we can work together on this.

Posted December 28, 2008, 1:47 amHey Tulip,
I will be reading your journey throughout the Obama campaign rather closely in the Ham & High.
Thank you for all your support during the Olad campaign for Kentish Town (although I believe my campaign has a little more prominence than Obama’s).
All the best.

Posted October 23, 2008, 2:21 pmGreat website, I love that the labour party have got such young, energetic people working for them! Good ideas on youth facilities..but what about your views on improving education?
Posted June 7, 2008, 9:12 amTulip, great letter in the H&H regarding the Lib Dem’s environmental policy. (link for this doesn’t work anymore by the way). In light of the Conservative party’s recent suggestions that they would offer Andrew Adonis a job if they win the next election, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the Academy Schools Pogram and Education policy?
Posted June 6, 2008, 2:29 pmGreat website, Tulip.
I really like your comments regarding more youth provisions and about involving more women in the Labour Party.
Posted June 6, 2008, 1:17 pmGreat work Tulip, I think your website is really informative. By the way, I enjoyed campaigning with you for Fortune Green – please do let me know if I can help again in the future.

Hi Tulip,
I’m especially encouraged by your promise of increased consultancy between the council and residents of Fortune Green. The incumbants do not have a good record in this area and I hope that, should you win, this would be improved.
Good luck with the election.

Hi Tulip,
Well done for getting us all out on a breezy winter weekend… I had lots of positive feedback, planting Roses for you in Fortune Green this Sunday.
People were very interested to hear that as a young woman councillor, you would put provision for youth at the top of your agenda.
All the luck in the world for your campaign.
Look forward to coming out again.
Keep on shining!

Posted January 30, 2008, 9:56 pmMessage to Fortune Green Voters!
Sonnet for Tulip
It’s an early spring that’s coming to call
Tulip Siddiq is Labour’s bright young light
Like spring, her new ideas benefit all
We say for Fortune Green, Tulip is right.
Tulip will bloom. She should receive your vote
Flower with warmth of your support for you
For those needing help, she’ll bring some new hope
A better quality of life come true.
Tulip wants youngsters here to get their share
Of Mayor Ken’s multi million youth offer
For the children and elderly she’ll care
And that our environment won’t suffer
Vote Tulip Siddiq on election day
As your councillor, she’ll have lots to say

You are an excellent candidate for Labour for the Fortune Green Ward. Your commitment and dedication is second to none. I know that you are a person with a great personality, loving and caring. You might ask how I know that. A lot of people who know you have expressed their thoughts about you.
I know you will do well at this bi-election. The people of Camden are behind you.
Good Luck and Best wishes,
Councillor Nasim Ali
