Busy Monday

Had a really busy day at work. I do a lot of casework in my job where I deal with constituents’ problems, ranging from public transport to local police. The hot topic today was housing, so I was dealing with issues such as noisy neighbours, disabled access (or lack thereof) and rising damp.

After work I went up to Finchley Central where two of my friends run a photo studio ( They very kindly offered to take some pictures of me for the campaign and for this website (see my photo on the right!)

I did some telephone canvassing in the evening and several residents mentioned their concerns that the Lib Dem and Tory coalition is considering closing down the Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children. I reassured them that I had been out campaigning with the Labour Party Action Team members to stop this from taking place and that one of my main priorities was to provide support for Camden’s special needs community.
