…and a busier end!

In the morning I had a great street canvassing session, talking with Fortune Green residents with my team of local Labour Party members.

Several people mentioned the issue of different speed-limit signs in close proximity to each other on Mill Lane, which could lead to confusion and traffic accidents. I hope that Camden will take local residents’ concerns about this road seriously. It’s exactly this sort of issue that needs to be addressed as soon as possible by the local council.

In the evening I worked on my campaign schedule for the upcoming week, including a telephone canvassing session on Wednesday the 30th January (volunteers always welcome!). I really prefer face-to-face canvassing, but the exceptionally short nature of this campaign means that I won’t be able to reach everyone by knocking on their door!

The weekend ended with a quiet dinner with friends and a DVD (I never get bored of The Shawshank Redemption!).
